John our tour guide gave us a great expose of Menorca geology, archeology, ancient history to present and culture. We seemed to cover almost all of the Island during the day and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing parts of Menorca that were off the beaten track. Nice job John.
A great experience of Menorca!

We had an amazing experience exploring some non-tourist areas of Menorca and learning much history of the island with Maria.

A really good tour enjoyed by ourselves as adults and out two kids on a really hot day, yet we enjoyed the day comfortable with Maria's consideration.

A must do to really learn about the island and some Menorcan history!
Fabulous

An amazing day out seeing unspoilt parts of the island around es mercadel. Our guides for the day were Pedre (Peter) and Maria who were both absolutely fantastic and made the day so fun and enjoyable. A trip that is a must for your perfect holiday. Also great for all ages - educational, fun, relaxing. An amazing experience. I will definitely be doing the sunset trip next.
Great fun, great sites and great company

Fantastic day with our driver/guide John. Very informative, witty and also managed to coax a bit of life out of his aging Land Rover! Great fun, great sites and great company. When we go back to Menorca we will definitely be doing the Sunset Tour.
Really unique way to experience Menorca and brilliant guides!

I was last in Menorca 7 years ago and Jeep Safari had just started but our kids were a bit small. I've been waiting to come back so I could book it and been following their social media and getting excited to finally experience it - and it was very much up to expectations!

Our guide, Pedro, collected us from our resort and he and Maria (the guide of the second vehicle) were top hosts all day long. They explained the history of the island - the geology, early settlements, industry and wildlife. They took time to speak with not only is, but the other guests from different countries, all with good humour and knowledge.

In the morning we went through the gorgeous towns of Es Mercadal and Alaior and explored the perfect, quiet back lanes and some rugged tracks where everyone could stand up out the top of the open Land Rovers. We stopped at the quarry outside Alaior, which doesn't sound like it would be worth visiting but is, in fact, is supremely tranquil and picturesque. Thank you to Maria for her insistence of photographs at this point!

More back lanes and tracks followed, as we headed south and took in the historical site of So na Caçana along the way, before driving back up to the north of the island.

Around lunchtime we stopped at the farm of Sa Nitja where we had a chance to buy drinks and cheeses, which are made on site. We also went into the cheese room which was lovely as it was freezing cold! Some of the party collected their lunches here, booked earlier in the day. We had a picnic with us so I cannot comment on the food supplied.

We headed off on a private track to a woodland spot with picnic tables for lunch - a welcome bit of shade and so peaceful!

To finish the day, we visited the red sand beaches of Platja de Cavalleria. We had 1.5 hours here and had a swim to cool off and bought some drinks from the bar in the car park. Just a note - if you have people who are less able, there is a rough path and a fair few steps down to the beach. I was on crutches and managed it, but it is worth being aware of, although there is a nice bar with shady seating if you prefer.

We drove back to Es Mercadal and said farewell to Maria and then Pedro delivered us back to our resort. A great day, full of interest and managed to hold the attention of two children in their late teens so it must be good!

Thank you to all the staff, from booking to driving and guiding - it was a fabulous experience and one that we'd all recommend whole-heartedly.
Best day out!

Great land rover tour with John. He was a great guy. Suitable for all ages. My husband is 78 and there was a young girl in early teens too. Seven of us in all. Would recommend for everyone.
Don't miss this excursion!

Our last day in Menorca was spent on this Jeep Safari with Maria. It was a fantastic excursion and well worth the cost. Two seniors, two adults and two children (11&12), with a couple joining us on our tour of the island. Maria was lovely and very knowledgeable. The tour took us off road to some of the most amazing hidden areas of Menorca. The historical and geological information was very informative, and the views were spectacular. We decided to purchase lunch with the tour and were very happy with the food on offer, provided by a local farm and traditionally made produce. The beach Maria took us to was incredible and we were swimming with the fish in crystal clear blue water. Take a snorkel and underwater camera if you can, and you will not be disappointed. We highly recommend this day out.
Definitely put on your to do list.

We had a fabulous day out. We saw more of the island than we would have even if we had hired a car. The driving was very safe even on the uneven tracks. We stopped for breaks, photo opportunities and history information from the guide about the island. Lunch was an extra cost but organised by the tour guys. There was time for a swimming stop too so don’t forget your swimmers.
Highly recommended!

An amazing experience! Jacques was an incredible host, he ensured that everybody enjoyed themselves and he was able to communicate in multiple languages. He even extended our day by an additional few hours just to make sure we’d seen everything we wanted. Could not rate this highly enough!
